Take Time to Rest and Relax

Now that the hustle and bustle of the holidays are over and the gung-ho burnout of New Year's resolutions have settled, it's time to relax and take care of yourself.  The weather seems to be telling us the same thing.  With the brittle colds of the polar vortex and the ice storms - at almost seems the weather is conspiring to keep us inside. To take some time for ourselves to reflect and renew.

Many have given up on their new year's resolution.  Taking some quiet time may help you refocus and renew your resolve.  Perhaps refine your resolution to be meaningful and attainable.

In your yoga practice, spend some extra time in savasana (corpse pose) or parsva savasana.  Parsva savasana is on your side in a fetal position.  As you come out of your yoga practice, you are a new refreshed you!

Slowing down does not mean stopping.  But we all need to take time for ourselves to be able to do what we want to do well.

Take some time for yourself and allow the relaxation to reinvigorate you!

As you are planning the rest of your year remember to take time for yourself.  Join us in a mid-year retreat to refresh and renew as you enjoy yoga and nature.  More information is here.

Or perhaps you want to add new skills and information as part of your growth.  Join us for a SUP teacher training in June.

We'd love to see you!!
